課程概述

課程概述:
民主體制的運作與政府體制的選擇、政黨的組織與行為以及選舉制度的設計,有著密不可分的關係,良好的政治制度能夠確保人民溫飽、族群和諧、民主穩定、內閣穩定、政黨政治以及責任政治,然而什麼是良好的政治制度?有所謂放諸四海而皆準的制度嗎?為什麼?什麼情況下良好的制度能夠被採用?什麼情況下次佳的制度反被選擇?想要理解當今各國民主體制的運作及其面臨的挑戰,便須對這些問題,進行思考與探究,而這也正是本課程的主旨與目的。


 

課程目標
課程目標:
讓同學對課程主題有清楚與深入的掌握,並且訓練同學具備獨立思考與研究的能力。
 
課程要求
評分方式:
(1) 閱讀每週指定的教材,並且出席以及參與課堂討論(10%)。
(2) 從第二週起,每週由同學報告該週的教材內容,負責同學必須撰寫六頁以內的報告,並於上課前一天下午2點前傳給老師,然後由老師上傳至Ceiba。每名同學必須報告3次(40%)。
(3) 撰寫期末報告。同學須繳交一份期末報告,主題與本課程相關,老師會安排讓同學於期末報告這份報告,讓同學有機會得到老師與上課其他同學的意見與建議,以作為未來修改文章時的參考,也讓本課程有更多師生討論的機會。報告繳交時間同樣是報告前一天下午2點前傳給老師,然後由老師上傳至Ceiba(50%)。
